Cressing Temple Barns is a beautiful rural estate in Essex with two 13th century timber barns as its historic centerpiece. I love visiting this Tudor timepiece, as soon as you arrive you are transported back to a simpler time, its impossible not to feel relaxed here.
Last week I took the girls along to one Cressing Temple Barns summer holiday activity days. ‘The Big Dig’ was made up of three events; crafts, archery and an archeological dig.
The day was extremely well organised, with all ages being catered for. Scarlett loved the archery and they both got stuck into the ‘dig’.
Staff members from Cressing Temple Barns were on hand to help identify the objets they discovered, and I cannot praise highly enough how well these guys interacted with the children. They really helped to spark an interest in all of them.
Cressing Temple Barns are hosting a number of events over the summer, we are back on the 28th for a Knights, Princesses and Dragons day and cannot wait.
This all looks like so much fun so we’ve included your post in our little summer round-up
