Ever since Jimmy hit our screens in 2004 (10 years ago – man that’s gone quick) I have loved visiting Jimmys Farm to see how things are getting along. We are frequent visors to this great venue (so much so we now have an annual pass). There is so much on offer for families and I love how many opportunities there are for children to get ‘hands-on’ with nature and farm life. You really do get a much more authentic farm experience at Jimmys than many other open farms.
Our first stop was the nature trail. What a beautiful day we had for it…
Then it was time to head down to the water for a spot of pond dipping. This is free of charge to all who pay for the nature trail (another thing I love about Jimmys Farm is how once you pay to enter you aren’t asked for any extra money to take part in the activities)
A New addition since our last visit is the Hobbit House and a larger new wooden play area (with arguably the fast zip-line I ever did see) all of which were big hits with the girls and gave us a chance to have a sit down while they let off some steam.
With only 3 weeks until half term I’m sure it won’t be that long until we are back visiting this great farm (and amazingly friendly staff) once again. Such a great day out – showing, as always, its the ordinary moments spend as a family that make the best memories.
We should meet here sometime! My boys absolutely love it there x
This looks like such a lot of fun. I can’t wait until Toby is a bit bigger and he can enjoy going to places like this.
Nothing like farm outings! Love the pics xx
I haven’t been to Jimmys Farm but have heard some amazing things about it from friends and fellow bloggers. Looks like a great day. And my god to ten years- wow life goes quickly!
Awww a pretty place! Nice place to make ordinary moments =)
This looks fab! It’s going on the list of things to do with the kids this summer x
This looks like such a great day out x
