We took a visit on Friday and loved every minute. The drive from us to Willows Farm Hertfordshire is just over an hour (and we actually drive past two other open farms on the way), but I will always choose Easter at Willows Farm Hertfordshire over any other.
We always arrive just in time for lunch. This visit was the first we didn’t bring a picnic, and I would say the food borders on overpriced for what you get. However the quality is really good, so that does go some way to soften the blow.
Being the school holidays I found myself with a few extra children for the day. One thing I really love about Willows Farm Hertfordshire is that onceyou pay your entrance fee (prices start from £9.99) everything else inside, including all the rides and seasonal activities, are free of charge. I find this great for when I have a few of S’s friends with us, as I can let them be in control of the day without losing control of my spending.
Willows Farm Hertfordshire is wonderfully interactive and hands on for the children. During the falconry display all who wanted were able to fly the owl and pet handling in the barn is available all day. Both huge hits with my little gang.
The rides are suitable for little people (0.8m and over) and even during the holidays the queues are never huge.
Easter at Willows Farm Hertfordshire is all about the Easter Egg Hunt though. When it comes to seasonal events and putting on something a little bit special Willows Farm Herefordshire cannot be beaten. Each child came away with 5 chocolate eggs and a smile on there face….what more could you ask for?
Easter At Willows Farm Hertfordshire runs until April 21st, a highly recommended day out for the holidays.
