On January 1st I published a piece on How To Make New Years Resolutions (and stick to them). Little did I know this was soon to land me a slot on a BBC radio mid-morning show, offering advice to my fellow Essex dwellers on how best to make permanent changes this new year.

Apparently yesterday, Jan 14th, is the day that most New Years resolutions are broken. A mix of poor weather and lack of will-power combine to give us all the enthusiasm of snails and the biscuit tin gets re-opened.

This wasn’t the first time I had been on BBC Essex, I’d appeared once before with Dave Monk talking about changing careers in your twenties, however this was my first appearance resulting from work I had published.  How very exciting!

I’m hoping I wasn’t too much of a bumbling fool so that maybe they will have me back again. I could be quite happy talking on the radio about anything and nothing everyday…..maybe a new career in the making?!?

I have (against my better judgement) found you all the iPlayer link to starring role. I look forward to hearing your thoughts, well….only if they are nice ones.

My piece starts about 10mins  - http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p01npk3n - enjoy.
