Lyric Hammersmith Children’s Season Spring 2014 is set to be a great one. Tickets are now released for all their children’s productions (full list can be seen here) but today we are sharing with you www.anessexwife.com’s top picks.
Lyric Hammersmith Children’s Season Spring 2014 – Our Top Picks
February half term sees Stuff and Nonsense Theatre Company present The Little Red Hen, an adaptation of the nursery favourite featuring a host of animal puppets, sing-along songs and comic routines, ideal for over 3s.
Also for the over 3′s they have A Roo in my Suitcase. Brought to us by Half Moon Theatre and Rosemary Harris, in association with Apples and Snakes, this delightful production celebrates newness, difference and friendship using poetry and music.
If you are looking for something for a slightly younger audience then the Half Moon Theatre and Tam Tam Theatre’s Curious is the one for you. An ideal for a first theatre experience, this interactive show explores the fun to be had with everyday objects.
Finally, and my personal favourite, is the end of season of Town Mouse Country Mouse by Hand to Mouth Theatre. Bringing a tale of bravery and derring-do to life for ages 4 to 8.
