BeWILDerwood is an wonderful, award winning, forest of family fun an adventure based in Norfolk. Its a magical place for small and big children alike.

From the moment we arrived I was sucked into this world of Twiggles (tree-dwellers) and Boggles (marsh-dwellers). Walking through the forest to start out adventure, spotting Twiggles houses and keeping a look out for Crocklebogs, Scarlett couldn’t contain her excitement. This land of mystery creatures and magical stories had her captivated from the outset.

We started our adventure with the story telling. I loved how the children were given costumes to wear and encouraged to come on stage and join in with the tale. It was clear to see from the start customer enjoyment and involvement was at the heart of all BeWILDerwood strive to offer.

After we learnt all about the Mildred the Crocklebog, Far Tree and Thornyclod the Spider it was time to head into the forest and find them.

As a family we LOVED BeWILDerwood, it was the perfect venue for a family adventure. Scarlett loved the Broken Bridge, The Essex Husband loved sending me the wring way in the Maze (meanie), Orlaith loved the Treehouses and I was a huge fan of the ziplines.

A day pass for a family of 4 will cost you around £50. For six hours (we got there at 10.30am and were dragging out tired legs home at 4,30pm) of non-stop outdoor, action-packed, family fun, I say that is a bargain.

To end out day we took the boat back to the entrance, spotting the Twiggle village and teepee camp on out journey, and took a quick look round the gift shop before bidding a fond farewell to our new favorite place. But not for long hopefully, we cant wait to go back.
