Last week I visited the Raymond Bottone Hair Salon in Brentwood in a bid to kick start a ‘new me’ for the new school year.
I’m a little slack when it comes to my hair. I buy whatever shampoo is on offer and I don’t even own a pair of straighteners. Its shameful really.
My biggest problem is I don’t really know where to start. I want a hair style that easy to manage, but also need to be taught how to manage it. I am a helpless case. Most people would give up on me.
Not Sara and Raymond, no sir, they have taken me under their wing and are sorting my life (well my hair) out for me!
Raymond Bottone Hair Salon in Brentwood is where the magic is happening. Beautiful place, so well designed. Stylish and modern, yet not at all intimidating, This attitude is seen in the staff as well. I felt instantly relaxed when I stepped inside.
My stylist, Sara, was so friendly. I cant wait to go back just to see her again. Having worked with hair in Bretwood now for over 15 years she has a very loyal (and also famous) client base. It’s easy to see why, what this lovely lass doesn’t know about hair clearly isn’t worth knowing.
After talking through my options (and being given the chance to be honest about my current lack of hair care with judgment) I went for a full gloss colour and a cut to give my hair some shape and texture. Baby steps, but I’m already planning my return to have a fringe and drastic colour. I will be cool if it kills me!
Armed with more trash mags than Kerry Katona’s antics could fill, and a very well made cup of coffee, I sat back for some relaxation.
It felt so good to just to switch off. I’d forgotten how much fun having some pampering was. The final result was fantastic….that will get a whole pst of its own!
If you are in Essex and looking for a treat get yourself down to Raymond Bottone…..I cannot recommend them highly enough!
