The Big Dig – Cressing Temple Barns

Cressing Temple is a beautiful rural estate in Essex with two 13th century timber barns as its historic centerpiece. I love visiting this Tudor timepiece, as soon as you arrive you are transported back to a simpler time, its impossible not to feel relaxed here.

The day was extremely well organised, with all ages being catered for. Scarlett loved the archery and they both got stuck into the ‘dig’.

Staff members were on hand to help identify the objets they discovered, and I cannot praise highly enough how well these guys interacted with the children. They really helped to spark an interest in all of them.DSCF7767

Cressing Temple Barns are hosting a number of events over the summer, we are back on the 28th for a Knights, Princesses and Dragons day and cannot wait.
