I do like a bargain. When I go somewhere I like to know I’ve got a good deal and got my moneys worth.  God I’m getting old!!!

When looking for summer holiday events and activities I’m very much a fan of the ‘one price day out’.  You know that type where you pay to get in or to join and, then once there, then everything is free.  No more shouts of ‘Mummy, can I have some more money please’ and certainly no awkward situations where you find yourself explaining to a four-year old that you aren’t paying for them to go on another ride that goes less high than your head!

That’s why KidsFest 2013 at Marsh Farm really stood out to me as a good deal.  For the £21 entry ticket you get a whole day at the festival where you can watch the likes of Mister Maker, Fireman Sam and The ZingZillers, visit the Wild West, see a circus show, play in the Inflatable Village, show your kids up at the Dad’s Disco, ride the vintage fun fair, interact with a whole host of animals and so much more.

Plus they let you take in your own food and drink – so you really don’t have to spend a penny while you’re there.

Talking of spending a penny they are also offering the cleanest festival toilets your find all summer thanks to the wonderful Mobile Thrones.

If that wasn’t enough they have now added the extra bonus of a FREE 2 MONTH FARM PASS with every ticket giving you unlimited FREE entry to Marsh Farm Animal Adventure Park from Monday 12th August – Sunday 13th October 2013 inclusive.

That’s the rest of the summer holidays sorted then!
