Olbas Bath Review

Have you heard the news, I’ve taken up running. I know, hilarious. I ache constantly, and for at least the first half hour after I return home from a ‘Couch to 5k’ run I can’t breath.  It gets easier so I’m told.  We’ll see about that.

What I do know is that there is nothing like a hot bath to ease my pain and now, thanks to the wonderful Olbas bath products I have been sent, the bath also helps with my breathing too.

Now I, and I’m a little ashamed to admit this, am a sort of ‘judge a book by its cover’ kind of girl.  If I don’t like that look of something I’m unlikely to give it a go.  So I have to be honest, if I had just seen this product of the shelves in a supermarket I wouldn’t even have given it a second look.  The bottle design is dated, reminiscent of the lotions and potion my grandparents had. Don’t let that put you off though, whats inside the bottle is amazing.

Half a capful was enough for a bath that greeted me with bubbles to rival even some of the children bubble baths and the smell, well it was amazing.  After a half hour soak my body felt relaxed and my airways were open. Perfect for those cold winter evening when a little TLC is needed.  My skin felt great too, really soft, and I smelt amazing (even if I do say so myself).

Stuffy packaging or not, I will certainly be buying this again when this bottle runs out.

I guess it really is true what they say, it’s the beauty on the inside that counts.

Disclaimer – I was sent this bottle as a gift for the purpose of this review, but the aching muscles and views expressed were all my own.
