Camp Bestival is over for another year *sob* and, while we are still basking in some of the BEST familiy memories we have ever made, its already time for the Camp Bestival 2015 early bird tickets go on sale and for Rob Da Bank and his team to start thinking about next year.
Rob da Bank says: “As I sit bleary eyed, sunburnt and extraordinarily tired so many great memories are flooding back about our seventh Camp Bestival and very probably our best show to date. Near perfect weather, a lovely friendly crowd and some insanely good performances from top to bottom. Basement Jaxx, James and De La Soul proved worthy headliners but I loved seeing Johnny Marr, Nick Mulvey, Kate Tempest and TEED make you all go wild on the grass. Thanks for making it so phenomenal and we hope you’ll be back by our castle by the sea in 2015!”
Camp Bestival 2014 – The Best Place On Earth
From dancing the night away and watching Mr Tumble wow the main stage to walking round the Dingley Del at night and teaching my daughters the wonders of chilling all day in a bar to the soundtrack of Balearic beats, Camp Bestival, for us, was perfection.
We laughed, we danced, we learnt circus skills and we ate some of the most AMAZING food I have ever tasted in my life! We walked around soaking in the atmosphere, we talked to strangers and camped with some of our very best friends, we tried to fit the most people known to man on a seesaw and we sat together dreaming as family about travelling the world.
We pressed pause on life and entered into wonderland for a while.
While I am sad that it is over, I’m so very happy to have been a part of it. I cannot wait to do it all over again next year!
