Cllr John Jowers, Cabinet Member for Libraries, Communities and Planning, said: “Essex’s Country Parks provide a wonderful setting for families and children to let their imagination run free. Our open spaces are a fantastic place to have an adventure, get active and, most of all, have fun. There are few better ways to spend the summer holidays than exploring our fantastic Country Parks. By making it more affordable to visit them I believe more families will be able to make the most of what we have to offer.”
The vouchers are available from the park shops and from rangers who are organising pop-up events across the county throughout the summer holidays.
They provide unlimited parking at any of Essex’s Country Parks for £20, or £15 if you are a blue badge holder or are over 60, for a six-month period from the date of issue, stretching beyond summer to Halloween, October half-term, Christmas and into 2015.
