Essex Food Festival, Cressing Temple Barns – 19th and 20th July

A real treat for all foodies in Essex, this fab event is one of the longest running food festivals in Essex.  Often touted as one of the best festivals in Essex, this 2-day mouth-watering delight offers onstage demonstrations, market stalls, food areas and live music all set to the backdrop of one of Essex’s most beautiful and historic venues.

Kids Fest, Marsh Farm – 8th,9th and 10th of August

Lollibop, Hatfield House – 15th,16th and 17th of August

Following it’s move from London to Essex, Lollibop is set to become even better than previous years. LolliBop will be home to fab musical performances and TV favourites on the main stage entertaining the crowds. Deigned for families with under-10′s this big bash for little people is a fantastic way to introduced children to the wonder of festivals. After some poor reviews from its one year at the Olympic Park we are looking forward to seeing the changes that have been made. www.lollibopfestival.co.uk

Brownstock, Morris Farm – 29th, 30th and 31st August

Since starting as a small festival of only 100 friends and family a few years ago, Brownstock has seen the Brown family open the gates to their farm for three days every summer, and invite everyone in to their now VERY overgrown house party. This year you will see headline acts from Dizzee Rascal, Razorlight, The Feeling and Pendulum as well as many of the annual favourites such as the Piano Bar and The Treehouse Stage. www.brownstock.co.uk

    No Jackdaw? Seriously, people! Jackdaw Festival is the greatest thing to happen in Essex ever – 2 days of awesome music, really laid-back atmosphere & free camping too.
