Its less than three days until the party of the century…..and Operation: Mad Hatters Tea Party is in full swing.
The invites were sent out last month and I have had so many compliments on them (hoping I haven’t set the standard too high when it comes to the actual party!). I used Paper Shaker to design them and was hugely impressed by the wide range of options and images there were on offer. I went for a pink theme with lots of clocks, reminding people not to be late for this very important date.
The venue, Essex Country Cricket Ground, was booked months ago but I am heading back there tomorrow to go through my final plans for the evening with them. I am so excited to be having my party at such an iconic Essex venue.
Food wise we have opted for cake, cake and well, a little more cake! and the music is being provided by a super lovely friend of ours who DJs.
All that is really left now is sorting out the decorations – for which I am off shopping this afternoon. Think fairy lights, clocks, playing cards and tea cups……all very Alice In Wonderland!
I’m so very excited…..cannot wait to tell you all about it next week.
