1. Potato Salad

The first in our 5 Ways With Creme Fraiche is this lovely potato salad.  Boil 500g of halved new potatoes for about 20 minutes before mixing them in a bowl with  5 tbsp of creme fraiche, 2tbsp of horseradish and a handful of snipped fresh chives.

2. Crudities and Dip

Chop up carrots, cucumber and celery into small batons and serve with creme fraiche mixed with a handful of snipped fresh chives.

3. Quick Creamy Pasta

The third in our offering of 5 Ways With Creme Fraiche is a rather delightful creamy pasta. Cook your pasta as per packet instructions and then drain. Return to the pan and over a low heat add in a pinch of chili flakes, a pinch of garlic salt, a handful of fresh chopped basil and your creme fraiche. Stir well and heat gently for 2 minutes. Serve immediately.

4. Mushroom Bake

Add 300g of halved button mushrooms to a large frying pan and heat for about 5 minutes until soft. Add in two cloves of crushed garlic, 1/2 a diced red chili, handful of chopped coriander and 200g of creme fraiche. Turn the heat down and cook for a few minutes to combine the flavors. Season with pepper and place in the centre on a sheet of ready rolled puff pasty. Back in the over for 20 minutes and serve immediately.

5. Chocolate Pots

Our final 5 Ways With Creme Fraiche idea are these rich, moorish, chocolate pots. Heat 300g of creme fraiche in a sauce pan, add 300g of chocolate and stir until melted. Transfer into pots, allow to set in fridge for at least two hours. Top with low-fat whip and serve.
