This weekend our tree went up. Now it really is beginning to look a lot like Christmas.

I’m very precious about my tree. It has to be just right. So much so the children are given their own tree to decorate on the upstairs landing.

I love a real tree. The look, the smell, it all adds to wonderful feeling that surrounds us all throughout the month of December.

I have gone for a Victorian inspired tree this year I like to pick up a few Christmas bits each week with my shopping to spread the cost. Tesco have such a great range of affordable decorations on offer, it would be hard not to put a few bits in the trolley each time I visit anyway.

Present wise I have opted for traditional styles once again. Red and brown paper, tied with gold and red ribbons. They all look so elegant under the tree, waiting to bring joy to loved ones come the 25th.

Our tree, costing only £30 for a 6ft fir, is looking very green and plump, and with the decorations adorning so reasonably priced I had to stop myself from buying more than I needed. With 3 for 2 on many of their Christmas bits, and many other great offer throughout the store, you really can’t go wrong with some Christmas Decorations From Tesco this year.

I was sent a £20 Tesco voucher towards my Christmas Decorations From Tesco purchases but all views, and beautiful Christmas tree, are my own.
