Im an ididot!

Thats about the long and short of it.

Going self hosted last year scared the life out of me, but I navgiated it well and ended up with a blog I loved.

When the time can to renew my hosting plan I thought I’d change provider. I had heard good things about Bluehost and as I was a little frustrated with support department of my current host I figured I had nothing to lose.

I backed everything up (with a little help from some lovely people on twitter) and got ready to move. All was going well and I was busy daydreaming about my fresh start bringing me blogging award success and world domination.

Then, boom, it all went wrong. I had lost everything.

I don’t know what I did, but I know it was my error.

I have managed to find some posts in my inbox and republish them, but other than that I am having to start again.

True to my personality I am seeing this as a positive.  I had wanted to make changes to An Essex Wife for a while as it was going in a different direction of late.  So here is my chance.

Its a work in progress, but as with everything in life you get out what you put in.  It’s nothing that a few late nights and hard work cant put right (I hope).
