Boys and Girls Shop – The Winter Collection

I have blogged many times about the wonderful Boys&Girls clothing range, yet I have never really talked about how I came to love them so much.

I was reading the other day, over on the wonderful Dear Beautiful Blog, about the differences between dressing boys and girls and how Lucy finds its hard to source non pink baby girls outfits and it reminded me of the dilemma The Essex Husband and I used to have with The Little Lady.

I dress my babies in very traditional, girly clothes.  Almost always in dresses or pinafores that are almost always, in some part, pink. Once The Little Lady started pre-school we realised that these gorgeous dresses may not always be the most practical, but it was so strange to see her in anything else.  I came across Boys&Girls thanks to the wonder of twitter, and ever since we received our very first items from them I have been won over.  They are well made, wash well, stylish and very rarely need ironing.  I’d buy them just for that last part alone, the less ironing I have the more time I have to eat chocolate and blog after all!

This seasons offering are just as stylish as I have come to expect their clothes to be, however there is the added delight of great Christmas gift sets as well.  Looking for something for the child that has anything? Then look no further.

I am a big fan of this fun purple T-shirt (perfect for boys or girls) complete with its own matching gift bag – £15

Available in other colours

For babies they have some gorgeous rompers, also sold with their own Christmas gift bags, priced at £18.  How cute does Baby Essex look in hers?

Disclaimer – I was sent this outfit as a gift from Boys&Girls shop for the purpose of this review. However the views expressed, and the beautiful child featured, are all my own.
